Mr Robert Tasevski is a Surgical Oncologist and General Surgeon. He has clinical expertise in the areas of breast disease, surgical endocrine disease, melanoma and skin cancer, and soft tissue tumours including sarcoma. He also performs a wide range of general surgery procedures including hernia repair and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
In 1997, Mr Tasevski completed basic medical training through the University of Melbourne, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery. He completed general surgical training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2007. He then under took a 1-year Breast Surgery Fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Women’s Hospital, followed by a 2-year Society of Surgical Oncology accredited General Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Toronto in Canada. Furthermore, in 2013 he completed a Master’s of Science in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research from the University of Toronto.
Mr Tasevski has public hospital appointments at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Western Health and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He is the Supervisor of General Surgery Training at Royal Melbourne Hospital. His private hospital appointments include Melbourne Private Hospital, Frances Perry House, Epworth Freemason’s Hospital and Epworth Richmond Hospital. In addition to Queen’s Park Specialists (QPS), he also sees private patients in his consulting rooms at the Royal Women’s Hospital. He has a research interest in clinical effectiveness and surgical outcomes.
